The bulk of the book lays out Obama’s policy issues—health care, abortion, education, etc. The National Journal ranked Obama the most liberal Senator in 2007. After reading about his policy positions, you think that’s the case?

I was interested when I heard one of the speakers label him that last night when Blair and I were watching the convention. I agree with the article, that whether he is or isn't, it is pretty refreshing that he is pretty straightforward about how he feels on issues. This makes his position seem a lot less extreme.
I like your points Sam and would love to hear what others have to say about the question. I hear people talk about how Omama is so extremely liberal. What makes people say that? Can you guys agree?
